Christmas Lights

It is so good to hear about our members, particularly when they are taking an active part in the local community. A member of the Partick, Glasgow group Margaret Burke is quite amazing, considering she celebrated her 80th birthday this year. In the Summer edition of the magazine Partick People, Margaret is seen receiving a well deserved award as a finalist at the Helen McGregor Awards in 2012. Now Partick Community Council have chosen Margaret to be their delegate at an evening service commemorating World War 1 in the City chambers-followed by the turning on of the City’s Christmas lights.  Congratulations and heartfelt good wishes Margaret
