Programme

Arrival 10.30am Coaches and cars drop members off outside church. Narrow road with double yellow lines.Coffee and tea served in The Cartoon Room (The entrance is through large wooden gates with stone heraldic lions from Pugin’s coat of arms on the gate posts added by Edward. They lead into a cobbled driveway with the Cartoon room on the right and St. Edward’s on the left) Toilet facilities here.

11.15am DVD on Life of St Augustine and The Shrine

12 noon Mass – A collection for Shrine Restoration will be taken

After Mass your packed lunch can be eaten in Cartoon Room or on the Cliff top, with its stunning views

2.00pm Two groups will then form. The first group will have a tour of Pugin’s church and the second group shown round The Grange, Pugin’s family home, next door (£2.00 for The Grange tour) Then the groups reverse

3.30pm Exposition and Benediction

4.00pm Augustine Devotions and veneration of Relic
