Who can belong to the Life Ascending?
The Life Ascending is a movement for lay men and women. It is for all those we describe as senior citizens, older men and women, the retired and elderly or those who have reached a ‘certain age.’ An age when one realises that one is at a turning point in life. An Life Ascending group offers these men and women an opportunity to meet each other through regular group meetings.
The local Life Ascending Group is an important instrument in the way that Life Ascending helps its members grow in faith, prayer and love. For practical reasons, these groups are usually made up of people from one parish or one locality. The wider the mix of people, middle aged, old, this or that cultural or social background, the better it is for the Group. Hoping this information helps you to understand the ethos of this movement for the retired.
