In the light of the current situation in northern Iraq, Carl Bahoshy is playing a second series of piano and organ recitals at churches, schools and Cathedrals acrossEngland to raise both awareness and funds for the UK-registered charity Iraqi Christians In Need (ICIN), which is providing direct financial relief to some 120,000 displaced refugees under the care of the churches in northern Iraq through the provision of medical aid and shelter.
Since May 2014, some £33,000 has been raised by Carl, through 71 recitals. He is a UK-born Roman Catholic pianist and organist of Iraqi Catholic parents who settled in south-west London in the 1960s http://www.icin.org.uk/events/piano-and-organ-recital/ and 100% of proceeds raised via recitals are donated to ICIN.
